Jane Carter Curls to Go Untangle Me Weightless Leave-In Conditioner

Jane Carter Curls to Go Untangle Me Weightless Leave In 8oz/ 237ml

I think this is my favorite leave in that I’ve tried this year. I was skeptical at first because of the thin consistency but it is moisturizing like whoa and has a nice smell.

Curls Blueberry Bliss Twist and Shout Cream

Curls Blueberry Bliss Twist n Shout Cream 8 oz

This is the first ever product I’ve tried from this brand and I thought it was only for curly girls as in type 3 hair. As soon as I opened the bottle and smelled the scent of blueberries I rolled my eyes because really? After using it once I was hooked. It is a great cream and I everyone tells me how good my hair smells. It has hold and moisture. It is a solid cream to have.

Shea Moisture Yucca and Plantain Anti-Breakage Strengthening Masque

shea moisture DC

SheaMoisture Yucca & Plantain Anti-Breakage Strengthening Masque, 12 Ounce

Deep conditioner is something I recently got into this year, trying different ones. I was pleasantly surprised when this DC did EXACTLY what it said it would do. Would definitely repurchase and recommend to anyone. See my in depth review on this and other deep conditioners here.

Eden Body Works Natural Curl Defining Creme

EDEN BodyWorks Coconut Shea Curl Defining Creme, 16oz

I have been eyeing this cream for a long while. I was always amazed at how much product was in the container but I never tried it until this year. After buying it a friend told me it left her hair crusty and dry. I was like wow what a mistake I made, but I decided I would try it anyway and give it away if I didn’t like it. The first time I tried it I hated it, I felt like my hair was dry. It was defined but that didn’t matter because to me moisture comes first. When I was evaluating it to do an Instagram review (follow me!), I realized that I had forgotten to use leave in conditioner before using this product. So basically I put this on freshly washed hair and styled. Now considering THAT, I thought hm maybe this product held up pretty okay. I tried it again properly and WOW. Plus I’ve had it for months and I still have so much left.

Form Beauty Curl Define Creme

I was sent this product by Form Beauty and it is one of the best products for definition. When I use it on dry hair the product does not soak in as much as it can, so I use this on WET hair. It smells great and a little goes a long way. See my review on FORM Beauty here.

Jojoba Oil

NOW Foods Organic Jojoba Oil – 4oz

This oil has the same smell as grapeseed oil which is my favorite ever smell. However this oil is a bit heavier than grapeseed oil which I like. I had been hearing about this oil a lot and I finally decided to try it this year. I love that I can use it on my hair and my skin. I have been using it on my face and it makes it REALLY soft.

Lottabody Cleanse Me CoWash

Lotta Body Cleanse Me Co-Wash with Coconut And Shea Oil, 10.1 Ounce

Let me say right now I am not a cowash girl because my scalp does not play that. I need shampoo every couple washes at least. However I love the curl and style milk from Lottabody so I decided to try their cowash which was the first product they came out with when they started making products for natural hair (correct me if im wrong). I got a big bottle for under $5. I used it not expecting much. I followed the instructions and left it in my hair for 3 minutes and washed it out. My hair felt like it has been deep conditioned, I was astonished. It was SO soft. This is now my emergency cowash if I need a DC feel without taking DC time.

I hope you enjoyed this post and take these suggestions; I genuinely like all these products. You don’t need many products in your regimen , once you find your staples you should stick to them. Hopefully something in this post or on my site overall is great for you like it was for me. Thank you for reading, make sure you like and share this post!

See you in 2018.
